How much does a great white shark weigh? How far is the Earth from the Moon? How hot is the surface of Mercury? These figures have nothing to do with each other, but if you had to classify them, where would you put them on the Line?
\nThe Line\u2019s principle is simple: each card has a piece of information on the front, and its corresponding numerical value on the back.
\nEstimate the value, and place it correctly on a scale made up of the previous cards. In co-op mode, line up as many cards as possible! In competitive mode, be the first to get rid of all your cards!<\/p>\n
The Red Box, as it will exist from now on, notably distinguishes itself from the French version currently available in stores on the following four points:
\n\u2022 A more mainstream game: The game has been purged of nearly half of its questions (those considered the most difficult), which have been replaced by more accessible questions in order to achieve a more flattering average score, right from the first games (and thus neutralize any risk of frustration).
\n\u2022 A \u00abGamified\u00bb game: The game will now consist of an initial deck of 90 cards (the easiest ones) and 4 small additional decks (under shrink wrap) of 20 cards each, with increasing difficulty.<\/p>\n
\u2022 A restructured rule: In order to better emphasize the fact that players should not hesitate to \u00abpass\u00bb the most difficult cards in order to bypass obstacles rather than charging into them (we have indeed noticed that the \u00abpass\u00bb action is often forgotten or neglected by test groups).This, combined with the two preceding elements, significantly increases the average score.
